A lyrics displaying system
To improve the possibilities to sing along and catch the text lines digital displays have been added behind the disk of FunBar during 2011. These are intended to function as a complement to the popular booklets that show on the pictures in the “Singing in FunBar” gallery under the “Pictures” menu. So far, there are three displays, one in each audience direction. It’s a computer based system and the song lyrics are easily displayed using only a standard mouse to select titles from a menu. Everything is displayed by means of a home page with links inserted to song menus and the actual lyrics. It’s easy and intuitive to navigate, leaving no one out! The lyrics are displayed in full-screen mode and the displays are rotated to vertical positions giving the viewers the impression of looking at an enlarged A4 page.
Have a look at the screen-shots below by clicking the thumbnails!
We will now try to use only one computer, and accordingly one mouse, connected to all displays to see how that works out. It will get even faster to display the same content on all of the displays and each individual may also view the song menus in the booklets. -You are welcome to leave a comment at the bottom of this page about what you think is the best way to go.
FunBar has become a trademark!
This happened back in 2009 but has not been mentioned on the FunBar home page before. It’s therefore now proudly declared that funbar is a registered trademark within the category of Music entertainment. Since the registration relates to a so called “text mark” it is free to choose arbitrary between small and capital letters.
